Cat shelter in Montérégie: Pattes Communautaires partners with Mon Ami to help cats in need
At Pattes Communautaires, our mission is to offer a second chance to abandoned, stray, or vulnerable cats in the Montérégie region and surrounding areas. Thanks to the support of our community, we are able to rescue, care for, and find loving families for many cats each year.
Today, we are proud to announce a new collaboration with Mon Ami, a Quebec company recognized for its commitment to animal welfare. Together, we hope to make it easier to donate to our cat shelter in Montérégie and allow more people to provide concrete help to animals in need.
A simple way to help a cat shelter
The needs of a shelter are constantly evolving. Between food, veterinary care, preventive treatments, and essential daily products, expenses are significant.
To support our mission, Mon Ami has created a wishlist featuring the items most requested by our team and our foster families.
If you are looking for ways to help a cat shelter, this initiative is an excellent way to contribute directly to the well-being of the cats and kittens under our protection.
How can you donate food to a cat shelter?
Participating is simple:
-
Choose an item from the Pattes Communautaires wishlist at Mon Ami.
-
Drop your purchase in the in-store donation box.
-
For online orders, simply indicate "Don Pattes Communautaires" in the order notes.
-
Mon Ami then donates 100% of the donations directly to our organization.

Why are donations essential?
When we take in a cat from the street, a feline colony, or an abandonment situation, it often requires several weeks or even months of care before being ready for adoption.
Donations allow us to:
-
Feed cats and kittens in foster care.
-
Support animals with special medical needs.
-
Reduce the shelter's operating costs.
-
Fund more rescues.
-
Provide a better quality of life for cats waiting for adoption.
Every bag of food, every can, and every supplement contributes directly to saving lives.
Cat adoption in Quebec: a mission that changes lives
Pattes Communautaires is a non-profit organization dedicated to the rescue and adoption of cats in Quebec.
Our goal is not only to find responsible families for our protégés, but also to raise public awareness about the importance of sterilization, veterinary care, and animal welfare.
Each adoption allows another cat in need to get its place within our network of foster families.
By supporting our shelter, you are directly participating in this chain of solidarity that helps dozens of cats find a safe and loving home.
Thank you to our community
