Personality description
This magnificent orange boy, over 10 years old, was found abandoned and very sick in the countryside. Thanks to a lot of love, care, and dedication, Red has regained his strength and is now ready to find the loving family he has always deserved.
Red is not just a cat… he is a true companion. He is a gentle giant with a huge heart and the energy of a kitten.
Why Red is so special:
A cuddle lover: Red loves being near his humans. His favorite spot is snuggled against your neck or lying near your head at night.
Young at heart: Don't let his age fool you! Red loves to play, explore, and enjoy the little things in life—even a toilet paper roll becomes a wonderful toy!
Dog-friendly: Red currently lives with three dogs and enjoys their company. He would be happy in a home with respectful dogs or as the only cat in the family.
Perfectly imperfect: Red is deaf, but that doesn't stop him from enjoying life to the fullest. He communicates with his beautiful eyes, gentle touches, and the special bond he creates with his humans.
Red's journey has not been easy. Due to his difficult past, he suffers from a chronic feline cold (feline herpes virus) which can flare up during periods of stress. For this reason, Red must be the only cat in the house, but he can live very well with dogs.
He will need a dedicated family who understands his needs and will continue to provide him with quality care and good nutrition. In return, Red will give you immense love, incredible loyalty, and precious memories.
Red is currently safe in his foster home, but he is now dreaming of a forever home where he can be loved and pampered during his golden years.
Could your home be Red's new beginning?
A contribution towards Red's care and medical journey would be greatly appreciated to help us continue saving extraordinary cats like him. Every donation makes a difference.
